Welcome to Bella Rosa. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Because our products are personal care and hygiene-sensitive items, we maintain a strict return policy to ensure the health and safety of all our customers.
By making a purchase on our website, you agree to the terms of the Refund and Return Policy outlined below.
1. The 7-Day Cooling-Off Period
In accordance with Section 44 of the South African Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), you are entitled to cancel your purchase and request a return within 7 days of receiving your product, no questions asked.
- The 7-day countdown begins on the day your order is successfully delivered by our courier partner to your specified address.
- To log a return, you must notify us in writing at support@herrenaissance.co.za within this 7-day window. Returns logged after 7 days will unfortunately not be accepted.
2. Strict Condition of Returned Products
Due to the cosmetic and personal care nature of our products, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds for any items that have been handled, used, or altered.
To be eligible for a return and full refund:
- The product must be completely unopened, unused, and untampered with.
- The safety seals, if applicable, must be fully intact.
- The product must be in its original packaging and in the exact same resalable condition in which you received it.
- Opened/Used Products: Any product that has been opened, unsealed, or used cannot be refunded, returned, or exchanged under any circumstances.
3. No Exchanges
We do not offer direct product exchanges. If you ordered the incorrect item by mistake and it remains completely unopened and in its original packaging, you may return it for a refund under this policy and place a fresh order on our website for the correct item.
4. Return Shipping Costs
- Customer Responsibility: In accordance with South African consumer law for change-of-mind returns, the cost of return shipping is entirely for the client’s account.
- You are responsible for arranging the courier and paying the delivery fees to return the package to our designated Alberton depot.
- We strongly recommend using a reputable courier service that provides a tracking number and shipping insurance. Bella Rosa cannot be held responsible for return packages that are lost, damaged, or stolen in transit.
- Original shipping fees paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable.
5. Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items
If you receive a product that was damaged during transit, is defective, or if we accidentally packed the wrong item, the above rules do not apply.
- Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately (within 24–48 hours) at support@herrenaissance.co.za with your order number and clear photographic proof of the defect or damage.
- If the product is verified as damaged or defective upon arrival, we will arrange and cover the costs for a courier to collect the item and issue a replacement or full refund at no extra cost to you.
6. How to Log a Return
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:
- Email us at support@herrenaissance.co.za with your Order Number and the reason for your return.
- Our team will review your request and send you the designated delivery address for our return depot.
- Securely package the unopened item in its original box to prevent damage during transit.
- Dispatch the package via your chosen courier and email us the tracking number.
7. Processing Your Refund
Once your return package arrives at our facility, our quality control team will inspect the item to ensure it meets our strict, unopened condition criteria.
- If approved, your refund will be processed immediately.
- Refunds will be issued via your original payment method (e.g., PayFast, Yoco, EFT, or Credit Card). Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the funds to reflect in your account, depending on your banking institution’s processing times.
- If the item is found to be opened, used, or damaged upon inspection, the return will be rejected, no refund will be issued, and you will be responsible for paying a courier fee if you wish to have the item sent back to you.
